We are told we have gone around 250 miles or so. Our journey has been lovely, and we are now visited by Nana and Grandad who make us cups of tea and Yyummy meals. We might go for a canoe on the Clark Fork river which flows by us at Thompson Falls State Park. The surreal poem of travelling in the U. S. of A. continues like a Salvador Dali painting.....we pick up a small Dali book in the local bookstore to accentuate our own experiences. The highlights of our poetic journey would include:
Greetings from a 1927 Pink three wheel Ford truck with Jesus messages written on it and lovley folks stopping to wish us well (and blessings from Jesus)
A whiskey-breathed camphost who strongly dislikes Obama and Jimmy Carter and carries 5 guns in his R.V.
A lovely Hommish store where we ate the best food and found organic Quinoa
A well dressed elderly woman speaking loudly in a restaraunt about being so hungry she could eat the $#@@#**** end out of a skunk
Seeing hundreds of Brown Wood Nymphs everyday
Having picnics with Faeries
Listening to the ramblings at a campsite about a ladies dating profile (she spoke so loudly that everyone could hear)
We read aloud The Hobbit everynight which is a lovely accent to our own adventures.
Today we relax, do laundry and visit with our lovely visitors.......................................
