Addiction

This pièce of art at the Missoula Art Gallery is titled Addiction and with some other pièces in the same vein, confronts our addiction to oil. This pièce shows a flying man chasing down an oil barrel. The picture below of the horse is from the same Gallery.
Reflecting on our hobbit-like-adventure, i see that addiction may certainly be one of our dragons to overcome. Addiction to business, distraction, material wants, gréed and oil. The gold we seek beneath this dragon is this moment. The gold is love, adventure, créativité and an inner stillness to enjoy them all.
As i write this, i drink coffee in hopes of stimulating the stillness. Our journey through paradoxia continues and is never dull.
