74 cents for unleaded gas.........This was the smallest amount I have ever spent at a gas station, with the fuel destined for our MSR campstove. Some interesting glances were cast with our trusty steeds (bicycles) parked against the brick wall. The smallest amount I saw at any of the other pumps was $42 which is more standard for our regular carriages. The fuel we bought will last for several days and cook many anticipated meals..........French toast certainly being one of our favorites. We depart the Ione gas station (day five or so) with gas, love and maple syrup.
