We have arrived in Missoula some 350 miles or so from our home. We stay with Bruce who has a beautiful home with wonderful creative niches everywhere you look. The living room is set up with a stage and instruments and there is constantly music flowing through the halls. The romanes are: a wildlife biologist with 14 kittens, a philosopher piano maestro, an ethnobotanical plant geneticist and a saxophone playing/canoe building hydrologist who has climbed around the world. The painting below was painted while listening to a jazz jam. The deer roam freely here and we have seen no ogres or dragons. This is remniscent of Beorn safe refuge in the hobbit..........We are relaxed and content.
